La vision di Edgemony

Il risultato di questa visione è già concreto: Confidence Systems, azienda statunitense con sede nella Silicon Valley e guidata dal suo visionario fondatore Leo Rocco, ha già investito nel progetto assumendo più di 35 profili tech di 6 mesi.

Manual QA Engineer - Palermo

We are looking for a Manual QA Tester Engineer to assess software quality through manual testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs.


In this role, you should have a keen eye for details and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.


Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.

  • Monitoring errors in the system and discussing them with other colleagues
  • Helping with bug detection
  • Conducting product testing after its presentation
  • Testing and analyzing the results
  • Collaborating on quality assurance within a team

Roles and responsibilities of a manual tester

  • Participation in meetings
  • Analysis of customer requests
  • Software bug tracking
  • Analysis and execution of test cases
  • Maintaining contact with test managers


Requirements:

  • Completed specialized education, including a bachelor’s degree in
    information technologies or a similar field
  • More than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of testing tools
  • Teamwork skills
  • Mastery of QA methodologies
  • Mastery of BDD methodologies

Manual testing skills

  • Experience of working as a tester or in a similar position

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you are a highly skilled developer, responsible for system analysis and definition within the automation framework, automation approach, structure, implementation and driving automation to completion.

  • Support product teams by implementing automated tests that verify E2E, UI, API, and data layers as part of a continuous delivery process
  • Participate in architectural discussions about automated test suites
  • Ensure automated tests internal standards are met by carrying out
    code reviews
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on peer test plans
  • Advocate for building and adopting tools that can enhance product development organization velocity
  • Promote the importance of quality adoption across all product areas
    within the organization

 

There is more than one way to the perfect fit – here are some of the ideal things:

  • Strong experience as software quality assurance engineer
    implementing automated tests
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Demonstrable experience of at least one modern test automation
    framework (e.g. TestCafe, Protractor, Cypress.io, Selenium or any other automated testing tool based on Java or JavaScript)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development framework
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, both spoken and written

As a plus you will have:

  • Strong experience with modern languages
  • Good experience with REST API testing
  • Experience with Xray QA Software
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Strong experience with open-source automation tools focusing on BDD
    frameworks (i.e. Cucumber/Gherkin)
  • Familiarity with docker containers, Version control systems (i.e. Git),
    continuous integration systems (e.g. Jenkins, Drone, etc…) and AWS

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive strong teaming abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Minimum three years Tests development experience in the IT field, including development work and interactions with customers
