From CWS to DevOps Academy
ConTe.it has opened a technology hub in Sicily in collaboration with Edgemony, aimed at supporting technological and professional growth in the region. Edgemony, known for its training courses in software development and digital marketing, has already helped ConTe.it expand its technical team with some of its best students. The initiative aims to accelerate technology skills development in Sicily by creating local teams and retaining talent to counter the "brain drain."

Sisal, one of Italy's leading gaming and betting companies, has shown a strong commitment to technological innovation by opening a hub in Palermo in partnership with Edgemony. This center engages Sicilian IT professionals to develop national and international projects. The hub is expanding and aims to further increase the number of professionals employed in the coming months.

“The easiest choice at that time was to continue as managers for some company around Italy or abroad.
We felt, however, that it was not the choice that would give us the greatest satisfaction; we did not want to leave our land again and abandon the idea of doing something for Sicily. We said, We are staying, but on the condition that we generate a large-scale impact in Sicily.
After several months in which we thought about what we could do to generate the greatest possible impact, we decided to found Edgemony in March 2020 (right at the beginning of the pandemic), with the goal of making Sicily, starting in Palermo, a technology hub, aiming from the start to create the skills most in demand in the labor market and attracting Italian and foreign companies to the area to create their own team extensions.”
